The recipe from The Barn Inn Bed and Breakfast for Baked Oatmeal was featured as a menu item of a special event, "A sunset Breakfast - Dawn Inspired Dishes Served at Dusk" and was served to participants on the University of Georgia Good Services meal plan and community guests on October 13, 2011. The Barn Inn's recipe was adapted for use by University of Georgia chefs and production teams and was served to 8,700 students. The University of Georgia Food Services is nationally recognized for its creative special event schedule.
