This tour is available Tuesday and Thursday, year 'round. Enjoy the pleasures of sampling many foods original to Holmes County Ohio on this newly introduced tour!
Itinerary:
9:30 Tour departs from the Walnut Creek Cheese parking lot, 4169 Rt 39
Stops include: * Amish Bakery ~ Enjoy the aromas of freshly baked pastries, fry pies, cheese tarts, spices and bulk foods. Each person will receive an apple fritter or glazed donut and a cup of coffee. * Guggisberg Swiss Cheese ~ Original Baby Swiss Cheese was developed in Holmes County by the Guggisberg family. * Chocolate Shoppe ~ Soothe you senses with samples of confections. You will receive a small box of chocolates. * Hotel Millersburg ~ You will enjoy a cup of Beer Cheese Soup and sample Trail Bologna, enjoy veggies and soft drink in this historic stagecoach stop restaurant * Amish Country Essentials ~ You'll enjoy shopping where all items are locally made; soap making, crafts, and shopping in village of Millersburg * Wine Samples ~ Visit one of our fine local wineries with up to 3 free samples to those age 21 and over. * Conclude the tour at Walnut Creek Cheese ~ Offering many samples of jams, sauces, smoke meats, bulk spices, and a free ice cream cone flavor or choice

| 2-Hour Amish Heartland Tour |

This tour departs promptly at 12:30 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. from Holmes County's Amish Flea Market. (Located 1/2 mile East of Berlin on SR 39)
The two-hour tour takes you along the scenic backroads and stops at the businesses of Amish artisans. (Artisans may vary by day)
Cost: $29 per person, Ages 12 and over, Ages 4-7, $15, Ages 8-11, $25, plus price of Barn Inn stay
Meal: Add a meal in an Amish home for an additional $25 per person for the 3:00 PM tour. Call for children's meal prices. No charge for 2 and under.

Wanda Brunstetter will be the "Tour Guide" on a tour of Holmes County with a 55 passenger motorcoach. She will share stories, answer questions ad guide to various Amish-owned businesses. The day will conclude with a book signing and family-style Amish home meal. This tour will depart from Berlin.

2012 Schedule: April 21, May 12, June 16, August 11, September 8, October 20, November 10
This exception tour gives you the opportunity to explore the back road, view work horses in fields, buggies, rural life typical of a century ago, and the opportunity to enjoy the persons and foods of the Amish society. Tours are provided in climate-controlled sightseeing vehicles and narration on a PA system.
Breakfast Menu - Egg, bacon, hashbrown, & mushroom quiche, sausage gravy and biscuits, sausage, homemade cinnamon rolls, fruit slush, orange juice, and coffee.
Haystack Lunch - A favorite Amish tradition where you will build your own meal with layers upon layers of crushed crackers, white rice, a sloppy joe hamburger filling, chopped lettuce, raisinsw, diced tomatoes and green peppers, onions, melted cheese, and crushed Dorito chips. Dessert is the forever favorite "Pitch Fork Apple Cobbler".
Dinner and Dessert, much like an Amish wedding feast, consists of homemade bread, roast beef, baked chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, vegetable, noodles, beverage, pies and coffee.
Cameras are welcome on this tour. Each person will receive a laser-engraved, personalized name tage and cookbook with the recipes enjoyed on the tour. This ever-popular tour was featured in USA Today in 2005 and Country Living Magazine, June 2009.

Available Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, Available April 23 - October 22, 2012, 1-7:15 p.m. 1:00 ~ Begins at Yoder's Amish Home, 6050 State Route 515, approximately 3 miles north of Walnut Creek on the right.
You will take a walking tour of two formerly lived-in Amish, historically preserved homes. Enjoy an authentic and exceptionally accurate historic tour through the homestead, enjoy farm animals, shop from the home bakery (baked item not included in price of admission), enjoy a buggy ride, and tour the one-room school house. This stop requires moderate walking and stairs. 3:00 ~ Depart PROMPTLY for the 2 hour Amish Heartland back tour, visit 2 Amish Artisan business along the narrated tour, finalized by a meal in an Amish home (8 people minimum for meal)
5:00 ~ Return to Yoders for those not taking the meal 5:30 ~ Arrive at the Amish home for evening meal 7:15 p.m. ~ Return to Yoder's Amish Home

This tour includes a "Haystack" lunch and a "Pitchfork Apple Cobbler" dessert followed by a two-hour narrated backroads tour that will stop at an Amish artisan business, include a buggy ride and tour the historic mural at Behalt, the Amish and Mennonite Heritage Center.
Itinerary:
10:45 a.m. Arrive at Amish and Mennonite Heritage Center 11:00 a.m. Arrive at Amish home for lunch 12:30 p.m. Depart for the 2-hour Amish Heartland Tour, Artisan, buggy ride 2:30 p.m. Return to Heritage Center for Historic Tour

| Amish Meal in Home |

Enjoy an authentic Amish home-cooked meal Monday through Saturday, year around. As wonderful as our local restaurants are, no Amish style cooking restaurant matches the feel and flavors of a meal in an Amish home. Come and enjoy the reality of this special people group. You need not take a tour for this experience. The meal includes two types of meats, mashed potatoes, noodles, vegetable, a side salad, rolls, Amish peanut butter spread, beverage, and dessert. Served family style, the food is passed twice. A cookbook is also provided. This dinner requires a minimum of 8 guests. The Barn Inn Bed and Breakfast may arrange for our guests to join others to meet the minimum. If you want this meal, please call us, preferrably 10 days in advance so that we can contact our other registered guests to promote this special dinner.
After the meal the family typically shares a little bit about their livlihood and answers general questions; however, are a bit reticent to speak about their culture or religion. If they have children, they will help serve the meal and sometimes sing a few songs. Tip for the children is graciously received; however, tip for the meal is included in the $25 meal cost.
